What is your Brand Spirit?
For those of us doing our HeartWork, authenticity matters deeply to us. Which is why ‘branding’ can feel so… tricky.
Our culture has come to equate branding with ‘packaging’ - a veneer of clever taglines and glossy images concealing what is true.
My approach to branding is quite the opposite. It’s a process of unwrapping and unveiling until we get to the most honest expression of you. That is your brand.
But how do you turn your essence into a brand? How do you choose fonts, colours, words and imagery that feel like an expression of your soul?
I kept seeing the same struggle in my branding work - brilliant women with such big hearts and deep medicine, who’d become a shadow of themselves online.
And so I created the Brand Spirits framework to help heartfelt humans express their essence - visually & verbally.
I began observing the women around me, both my clients and women that inspire me online. 6 distinct energies began to emerge - Sage, Poet, Sprite, Sister, Rebel and Queen, each with their own voice and aesthetic.
Of course, we are all beautifully unique and nuanced beings, and our magic often lies in our paradoxes and dualities. And so this framework is based on the premise that we are each a unique blend of at least 2 Brand Spirits. I identify as a Poet-Sister (with a hint of Rebel!). Maybe you’re a Sage-Sprite, or a Rebel-Queen.

Sage
